I understand that the Spartan (Dorian) alphabet and dialect differed from the more common (to me anyway) Attic dialect. I have seen the typical examples of the differences of spelling,i.e. Leonidas vs Leonides, but can anyone provide further examples of the differences like a comparison of alphabets? Are the examples of Spartan speech in Aristophanes accurate?
