I've been at AW for some weeks now, but there didn't seem to be anything going ON in Egypt. Plus, I've heard rumors that there was some kind of problem over here and the last thing I need is more problems with stuff I do for fun.

But I see there seems to be some thinking going on for what direction Egypt should take, and I think that's a positive step - so here is my two cents.

I've read the posts from the Beta-Launch and Egypt really shone, both in historical posts and in fun or RP posts. It seems to me hardly anything has happened here since. Is that part of whatever this problem is? And a lot of the posters at the Beta-Launch I haven't seen around here at all. That's weird too.

What I'd like to see if discussion of all periods of Egyptian history, from the Old Kingdom right down to Cleopatra (yeah, I'm a fan too). There's so much in so many areas, we seem to be kindof limited here in topics. Second, why is there only one main RP story - is there some reason that only one was decided on? It would be fun to have more choice and flexibility. And there seem to be places to have a drink and just visit, but they're not easy to find.

All in all, I sortof feel like I'm in a big, beautiful temple that's half-built and almost deserted. I'm just learning about Egyptian history, but if you'll give me a broom and tell me where to start cleaning up, I'd like to help.
