I didn't want to introduce myself until I got an avatar problem sorted out - well, that didn't happen, so here am I, in rags.

I was a novice over at the old A.S., just discovered Egypt in January, 2001. Not much time to do much, but I've wandered the globe looking for something I liked as well. There are lots of good sites, but somehow they just didn't have the feeling A.S. did. I'm glad to find this place up again and hope to participate in building it.
