Evangeline Adam trial:
The case was decided in her favor after a lengthy trial. One of the things that decided it in her favor was the judge deciding to give her a sample chart to do. He didn’t tell anybody anything about it except he gave Evangeline a natal time, date and place to do the chart. Unknown to everybody else at the time, including Evangeline, he gave her this information of a close relative whom he knew for many years.
She did the chart and gave him the analysis and, of course, it was a perfect analysis of this person. He knew she didn’t know the person, never met her, and he knew she had made a perfect analysis. This had a tremendous impact on him. This case is the only one on the merits of astrological practice in New York law and most of the country follows the case law of New York. The case turned on the point of fortune telling or not, and she convinced the judge in the courtroom that she was not a fortune teller.
