"But I do not remember much!" he protests
"Maybe you will remember more in the retelling of it." Lady Shaquilat say encouragingly.
AfonsHenri took the invitation of the Lady Shaquilat to heart and commenced his tale starting with his arrival at the barracks in Antioch. His narration got as far as his time with Alli, when he abruptly paused. Lady Shaquilat patiently waited as she saw the frown on AfonsHenri’s face. The latter proceed with his narration, but now able to recall the events prior to the attack in the desert. About the attack he mentioned nothing. His memory of all the events prior to the attack is slowly but surely returning. He recalls his time with Lady Shaquilat and the caravan and the trip to Alexandria.
Lady Shaquilat seems delighted that her friend has regained some of his memory. AfonsHenri, begs Lady Shaquilat’s and Malichus’ pardon, for his earlier behaviour.
