I looked into her eyes and could see and feel her pain. My face softened and my anger abated for a moment.

My god I am married and i'm sure i've pushed my wife away or i've given her the wrong impression.

"My darling, I must apologize to you for the way i've been since the ceremony. Please know that I love you dearly more than life itself, and I don't think nor feel that this marriage is a mistake."

I swept her into a strong embrace and lossed myself in the scent of her hair and skin. "God I love you!" I murmured.

She melted into me and we reclined on the divan under the stars.

"Lotus, My darling, I don't know what I must do. I can't allow my cousin to be greedy and take my heritage!" I looked into her deep eyes earnestly.

"What must I do Lotus? What must I do?"

I feel into her embrace and found all of the days pains and anger seeping away through tears. I cried.
