A strange lady...

There is a pause before the man says, "I . . .I'm sorry, my lady, but do we know each other?"

AfonsHenri looked closely at the lady and her slave that accosted him. The pair seems vaguely familiar but he could not quiet place them. Since the attack in the desert his memory is not what it should be. The only think he remembers and that he obtained from the bodies of the soldiers who accompanied him was that he is to take command of the Augusta Syriaca Alae.

"I think there might be a mistake my lady. Can you maybe enlighten me about our acquiantance?" asked AfonsHenri reluctantly.
