I've read a few rumours that Jackson is indeed planning a deluxe boxed set of all three movies, but so far I've not come across anything concrete, so I think you're gonna have to wait and see. I hope they do some good DVD extras as well, and I'm sure they will. I'm fascinated by film-making and the LotR DVDs have had a lot of amazing extra stuff on them.
