Part of the reason (ok, a BIG part) that I joined this group is that I just wanted the world to know that I hate books were the author throws in randem foreign phrases with no explaination of what they mean. I like to read Agatha Christy, but her characters are always speaking in French or Latin or something, yet she never tells you what on earth they said!!!! That really bugs the fire out of me.
