    Ancient Khalkedon belonged to Byzantium indeed. And yes, descendants of the Ottoman Empire live there. I would be glad to get into all kinds of talks concerning this issue. Because some terms are really mixed up.. like Turk, Ottoman etc. I am a descendant of the Empire, of course, but i don't see myself as a Turk, in any way.

    Regarding your last question; my interest in Germania isn't solely based on the Rus. I know a lot about them and their service and presence in Constantinople etc. However, i am interested on many issues, and the "Rus" is only a fish in the lake. :)
