.......he felt the chilly sea breeze on his back,ruffling his his hair. He was thinking of summer nights out here, the canopy rippling a woman's warm scent waves kissing shores embracing a sky heavy with stars.
He stared back at Lurcio, not yet spring he thought. He considered for a moment just telling him to chase the two away, but then thinking of the woman's smile reflecting him as a lake the sky, he relented. Let the painter loose on the wall and give the girl a page of Aeschylus to copy. I'll pay them whatever and if they're good they'll get more work from me and if not then the whole of the Bay of Naples will know.
