A missive on some urgent pretext.
The festivities were to begin in a few hours. I stood im my quaters in the royal palace reading the letter.

Prince Nymosyne stated that a certain slave woman had arrived or so his secret police had informed him. She was here under the misconcept that I myself had sent for her. How absurd!
The Prince went on to say that she was very dangerous and was the cause of some of his troubles some time ago in Phonecia.

I was to avoid her at all cost. I was told that he had decreed the royal guards men to be on the lookout for this smirking jezebel.

I relaxed a bit but remained on edge. "Nasadi!" I called and he approached bowing. I handed him the missive and walked toward the window waiting for his response.
He spoke, "The you did not have Sheftu arrange to have the woman brought here to you?" I turned quickly and stared at him with disbelief. "Do you mean to tell me that arrangements have been made for this woman?" I shrieked. Nasadi bowed. "Master not more than an hour ago a woman arrived at port and was immediately picked up. She bore papers stating that she was here for your leisure and use." I looked in disbelief and anger. "Where the hell is she being taken?" I demanded.

He spoke. "My lord she is being taken to the out house behind the palace in Phaistos to await you.
I moved quickly calling for Kitane.
He arrived quickly. "Yes my lord!"
"I want you to prepare this letter to Prince Nymosyne and General Kasian. Let the Prince know that the woman he spoke of is here in Crete; she's just arrived and is being taken to the out palace behind the Palace of Phaistos. I want her captured immediately and turned over to Nymosyne."
The letter was quickly composed and I signed my name and affixed the royal seal.
Kitane quickly left bearing the letter to the Prince Nymosyne.
We would wait and see.
