Imbolc dawn
I put my green mask on
The earth awakes, new life to make,
The hatchling and the fawn.
Alive again
In forest, field and fen
The rising sap, the thunderclap,
The spark in faery glen.
Red stag's eye
A wild and lusty cry
The fire burns, the deer return,
The robin's song is nigh.
Bless the land
As mystery demands
The green man's kiss, the dance of bliss,
The touch of lover's hand.
Imbolc dawn
I put my my green mask on...
