Atalanta, I unfortunately have to agree with you. The show did have some very good points, but overall it dissapointed. One has to wonder how many of the innacuracies were caused by lack of funds or wanting to save money. If a channel is going to promote something as heavily as this was promoted, then one would certianly think that it would be better done. The dress and cloting was interesting, though off. I was wondering myself why they spent so much time on Harald Hardrada, and not men like Cnut or his father Svein. Naturally there are going to be people like us who do not like certain things about the show. I feel lucky enough that they finally did a specia like this, but if you're going to do something, do it right. I liked Dr. Kelly DeVries a man whom I have met in person, and someone who I think is a great historian, but besides him, I feel that there could have been better commentators.

Overall I think that the biggest thing that I didn't like was the length. They should have made it two hours, but they still get a passing grade for effort.
