I had always thought that the trolls were about as large as a grizzly bear. About 7-10 feet. But that's just me. From the commercials coming out on TV here in the States, it looks like there is either a new race of super-orcs, or there are some smaller sort of trools. Should be very interesting. I'm still trying ot debate whether to see the advanced screening tongith at midnight or not.

Anyways, is it possible that some of the goblin-orc machinery of government changed as Tolkien wrote? Perhaps when he wrote The Hobbit he wanted it one way, but then as he thought and wrote TLOTR rtilogy, his thoughts and views evolved. Just a thought.
