    Dear Astinius Socrates. I was reading your post and noticed your statistic that the Athenians were out numbered 7 to 1 in manpower. I was wondering where you read the fact and where I might look up the info for myself. I've spent a great deal of time trying to gauge the relative strengths "manpower" and overall demographics of ancient Greece and am intrigued by your post.
