Guisureth, your question seems to go a little beyond the scope of this group but of course you still shall get an answer.

We have a group here in Germania, Hugrunar, dealing with everything Viking and actually there is a thread dedicated to the Vikings in the East. Our own Thiudareiks Gunthigg has written a post there and included a link to a very informative site on the Varangians.
