    I think my goodly Maia that you have right concerning the relationship of Dioscuri, in a more detailed manner! We must understand that myths have nothing to do with ritual and liturgical rites.

    The same we can say for the Dioscuri not in Sparta – Laconia but, also, to the rest of the Hellenic world! Dioscuri are linked with Zeus Ktesios and His Kadiskoi. They are the anakeV “lords” but even though the QeoiV MegaloiV “Great Gods”, especially in Thessaly etc. In myths are the “sons of Zeus”, but in rituals are the functionary lords.
