Indifference,
that gray scale fallen
from a dragon of bygone yores.

Apathetic,
listing wherever it may lay
refusing to move with the tides.

Sympathetic,
a condition of pretence of care;
beautiful shallowness in pools of tears.

Indifference,
forgotten as the fallow shores;
treeless, loveless, forlornly reborn.
