I hear the
voice of my father speaking about the military strength of Sparta. He says that
the league of Delos will collapse one day and that day is near in our gloomy
future.
I really
scared when now I remember his wise words of his, sounded as Apollon’s will to
give a tiny moments blaze of our unknown to us mortal life.
We now,
behind of Athens walls, are waiting the enemy to leave away from our destroyed
land by them. Can we accept the will of noble Pericles, can we agree to the
absolute non-action watching Spartans and Thebans to demolish our homes and
walk with proud under our dark soil? How we can concur with that awkwardly
situation?
I am sure a
day will come that everything will be lost everlastingly…
