Basically the idea was to tell stories from the Near East (no matter where they came from, history, literature, whatever)... that is, Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Judea, Israel, Lebanon, Phoenicia, etc., etc.

Also with any amount of luck and after an ad in the forthcoming September issue of our fine local rag and some other ideas I have we will attract new active members.
