I just wanted to go back to Star Eyes sentence "The black magician, has gained power as a white magician, then falls."
Well, there is a well known story of a Tibetan sage, Milarepa, who, very young, and to obbey his mother, learned the black arts of sorcery in order to take vengeance of their enemies... so, he did not "gain power as a white magician", he just found out a Lama who teached him black arts.
