    3D animation of a Mithraeum!

    The Museum of London was built in the late 70's where it is now and during the building process, a Mithraeum (i.e. temple of Mithras, a Persian-Roman sun god, about whom an article by me will soon appear in AD) was found and excavated and it is now part of the museum which renders all pre-historical and historical features of London. The website, dedicated to the Mithraic cult, with lots of good information and images, has been recently adorned with a 3D animation which grants te spectator a view inside the reconstruction of the Mithraeum, which can be seen next to the Museum of London. Next to this 3D view, one can click on the yellow arrows and have an animated view of several Mithraea in the Roman Empire. Here it is:
