Things at the palace were in a restless state, in fact, with the whole situation; things were at a stall. Some might mistake it as a false sense of peace. In the palace the King hadn't even come out of his war chambers and on the southern tip of the walls no sound or movement could be detected. By the god's all was too quiet, and so quiet that it disconcerted me to irritation. I hadn't had a quiet day to myself for a while. I hadn't even found time to visit My darling Elektra or speak with my cousin Princess Ishtar, who I was told was taking Palacus's capture very hard. She didn't want to speak with anyone but the first servant who brought news that he was at least alive. It was funny because no one seemed concerned with the fate of Prince Ishme or the other Sculurs. My mind was tired and I was a tense mass walking the halls and corridors trying to sort things out. I guess one will have to wait and see.
