The Empires of the East are vast. Kings rise, and kings fall. Only one thing matters... being on the winning side. Will it be mighty Babylon? the powerful Medes? the ferocious Persians? or will it be the vast Scythian horde sweeping down from the steppes? Come, pick a side... then win... or die... ...

Sunuk-Peli had a long history with Prince Azarah Apilsin, having been contacted shortly after Azarah was installed on the throne of UR. Negotiations for trade had begun almost immediately, as well as the usual promises of undying friendship and peace.

Now in the last few months, requests for negotiations to form a military alliance had been resolved and agreed to. A large contingent of cavalry, chariots, archers, spearmen and slingers had joined with the new recruits from Ur and Zig’s Southern fielded army under the command of RimSin Assurbanipal.

The last dispatches from Babylon had left the loyalty and disposition of Lagash in question. But time was of the essence now. The main body of forces must move up and envoys would be sent to Lagash asking for assistance as Zig requested.

I hope Zig knows what he is doing.. I am not pleased to bypass Lagash not knowing her intentions.
