It says I got all of them right!

    Gutsy Gods

The ancient Egyptian god Heru had four sons named Imsety , Hapy , Qebhsenuef and Duwamutef . Each son stood for a pillar which supported the heavenly firmament . When ancient Egyptians passed on, certain body parts were removed and stored in four canopic jars .

Each jar bore the likeness of one son. Imsety's jar had a human head and contained the liver . Hapy's jar had a baboon's head and contained the lungs . Duwamutef's jar had a jackal's head and contained the stomach. Finally, Qebhsenuef's jar had a falcon's head and contained the intestines .

Each jar was placed in one corner, North, East, South and West , to represent the heavenly pillars . But the heart had no jar. Instead, it was weighed against the feather of Ma'at , and if it didn't pass the test , it was devoured by Amenet .

By the way, for all their advanced knowledge, the ancient Egyptians thought the brain had no use, and discarded it!
