    I know it may not be possible at the moment, because of all kinds of right connected to a picture (I guess that, before the ring has been officially published, no pictures of it can/may be made public) of the ring in question.

    But it would really be a good thing if I could see a picture, whether it be or not be through AW.

    Beside this problem, of not being able to have a look at the ring-scene in question, I would say that it still might well be able to be a faunus- or pan- figure or a satyr (goat legged worshipper of Dionysus) playing the aulos (i.e. double flute).

    Is there anything known about the date of the ring?
