Hapshetsut was very close to guessing the answer and provided the glyph meaning "hour" or divison of time. I would pass the baton to her were it not for Sementawy providing a detailing of the different interpretations and functions of hour-watcher and zeroing in on the job title "imy-unut". That is what I was looking for. She called them "ami-unnuit", priests of the hour, which are the same words. She also added about the heliacal rising of Sirius.
