    Hi Arbin,

    While I agree with Publius that the texture is significant for the pyramid that you are working on, I think you also have a lighting issue going on. Specifically, I think that in Bryce the Shadow Ambient color in the Sky palette has a big effect on how a texture looks in a scene. Here is an illustration of what I mean. The three cubes below are all the same texture and the sun position has not been changed. The only difference is the ambient shadow color. The shadow intensity is 90 in all images.
