Jot, I assume the Adkins & Adkins duo you mentioned are Lesley and Roy who recently published THE KEYS TO EGYPT: THE RACE TO READ THE HIEROGLYPHS. I knew about that one but not about the HANDBOOK. Just for comparison sake I checked out the Rosalie David HANDBOOK TO LIFE IN ANCIENT EGYPT. Oddly enough, the chapter headings are identical. Could there be an overlap here?
