ANd it seems the recreation of AS's New York just flew out the window. The reasons have been this.
1.) New York is not ancient: Although it was fun, it is still not ancient as the titles of the site suggests.
2.) New York was full of Vampyres: Although they were not fun, they are ancient, but mythological and dumb.
and 3.) The Celts aren't ancient (although I am not sure how this conclusion came about as the Celts are older than the Romans)
4.) Dick Clark is not ancient, nor is he a robot, but a freak of nature. (Although he is associated with Times Square New York.)
The only rebuttal from the supporter of New York was...
1.) It was fun.
2.) We should learn our history as Americans. (I am not sure that would make us feel better for bombing Afghans, but maybe worse.)
and 3.) The COnstitturion slkjddj fowjekjdi aidj adij fid si...blah, blah, blah.
So here we have it, New York is not an Ancient World, nor is it fun, nor do the Celts have anything to do with New York. But...If one does want to create a board dealing with Old New York, try Time Portals
They should accept you in more than a loving embrace.
