Very simply no where in my post did I denegrate the Ancient(or modern for that matter) Celts. In fact I think much of whats posted in Tara is actually insulting to them them and somewhat degrading.
In fact I am in agreement with those who state that the Celts made a signifigant contribution to Western civilization but Taran sure hasn't and that was my point.
I'm not going to repeat what I've already said but you seemed to think that my distain for Tara
meant a distain for the Celts which it did not. If that wasn't clear to you it should be now.
To set the record straight, as for NY, that was a challenge to see if support could be mustered to bring it back while the boards are being created. I'll miss it but I certainly am not distraught over its loss. To Itef, I never ruled anybody there nor would have cared to really, I posted thats all. Not as Guy MacRoth but as others which were non military for the most part.
In regards to why I have a Taran name, I think even the least sophisticated Taran would realise that MacRoth is a relatively modern spelling of an earlier name or modern in and of itself ( not sure exactly), the name Guy doesn't appear until Norman times as far as I can tell so it bears no resemblance nor was never meant to as name for an ancient Celt. I created it with the intent to use it for a specific purpose long forgotten. Oddly enough I am able to log in with it but not ones I used more regularly?
I don t care what other people call themselves BTW, but I can understand why some people would
question my use of a "Taran" name.
And In regards to any alledged grams I have no interest in such a childish debate, nor will Irespond again in any way on such a pointless subject.
