"You wanted me?"

Hapshetsut patted the seat beside her and I sat down. She was looking very pleased with herself. I knew that expression - it always ended up meaning work for me.

"Senu, I've had the most wonderful idea!" Here we go, I thought ruefully. "But I need you to return home to collect my leather bag and scrolls. Could you do that for me now?"

"'Course. Is there anything else?"

"Yeessss...no, I'd better wait until I see what I already have on hand." She turned her distracted eyes to me and suddenly beamed.
