I teach a college-level creativity class and have the students use crayons, colored markers, and play doh. I have them share their songs and poems and teach one another with PowerPoints and websites. We all have creative gifts to offer the world. We just aren't all gifted in the same areas, and we have to admit that there are GENIUSES with whom we can't hope to compete (Dante, Shakespeare, Chaucer, Leonardo, Michelangelo, etc.). The important thing is to encourage one another to share and ignore the internal critic that says, "You're no good."
