Medical Detectives not withstanding (though that is quite a coincidence!) that testimony was not approved. As with all things, there is a fine line between RP leniency and just making stuff up. If I allow the testimony to stand, Murena could waltz in here and say that not only did his client not kill his wife, but indeed, saw Lepidus do it, with the knife, in the kitchen (yay Clue!) - all sworn and stated before the court, etc etc. We can see where actions like this would lead (five year olds saying 'nuh uh, you didn't hit me, cuz I have a lazer shield!' springs to mind), so a gentle course correction will be applied:

The jury will be instructed to ignore the 'evidence'.
