After they leave and I get Mist's wildflowers in some water, they come back to life losing their wiltedness. I wonder though what he had done to them aside from having Mist plough into him. Probably pacing the hall I guess. But that was Mist for you, when she wasn't acting as an unseen force she had a tendency to engulf you whole. I wonder if Tyr can handle courting a force like that. Gods were resilience though and I didn't have anymore time to ponder the implications.

While Mist is off on a date, I had to work or more specifically my month review is tonight with Brunhild. That woman was still nothing but steel, ripcord sprinkled with gray, kind but not to be trifled with.

I arrive at the stables and someone hands me the reins to my mount. There were some perks to being a Valkyrja. The battle is midway when we arrive. Howls surround me before my own voice joins them. Where my mount goes while we hunt has always been a mystery.

There I see my chosen, bleeding from a torn hole in his abdomen. He sees me, but it's too late. His blood fills my jaws and we're outside the lobby after a wild ride back. Unceremoniously, he falls from my mount to look up at me with questions in his eyes. Gracefully I dismount with one smooth motion and someone takes the reins to lead away my mount.

I offer my hand to the new einherjar in front of the lobby, "Welcome to Valhalla Raedwulf. Time to meet your god."
