Im here to make you believe that this cute looking Ringtail Possum is deadly. Well it is possible, when you take a look at its razor sharp claws. Excellent bar/k strippers, they roam about in the treetops and often come thudding onto your roof in the middle of the night scaring the crap out of you when you least expect it. Though city slickers dont often experience this, their loud screeching appears dreadfully vicious when they are fighting and as a seasoned Viking I wouldnt want to have to fight one in the dark of the night.



There is another genus of possum widely known in Australia called the queen of possums and this one is certainly ugly and screeches loudly. This queen is a colourful piece of work, much loved by some, but is guaranteed to make tourists die a painful slow death. See image below
