I checked the PC book I have by Donna Kato and she mentions making sure you store the clay out of direct sunlight and in a cool place. She wrote that she wraps her works in progress in plastic wrap then stores them in a plastic box (with the recycling #5 on it). duh...I could have read this before asking. *lol*
