How much more "still alive" does it get? Here's a quote from the Jacobite Intelligencer, a blog that looks like it is fairly up to date on current events concerned with Jacobite issues.
"The issues that were of concern to Jacobites are still very much alive today. Scottish independence and the constitutional status of the north of Ireland, the role of Scottish and Irish MPs in the Westminster Parliament and the continuing injustice of the Act of Settlement (to name but a few) are issues that linger on from the 17th and 18th centuries and are still in the news. In this blog I attempt to comment on both current and historical events from a Jacobite perspective."
(Read the blog here.)
As for the actual persons who are descendants of the Jacobite line alive today, there are some descendants of Queen Mary III and IV whose lineage can be traced on this page.
