I won't write about it here, I hope to transfer it over to the Folklore, but if anyone can provide Selki stores or such, please send them my way.

In the few I've read they always seem to have a fisherman who is greedy. Back then, and maybe today, Seal Skins brought a good price, so some fishermen would only hunt seals.

I'm wondering if may the Selki stories have an underlying moral point about Greed. Though I haven't read enough of them. I'd like more so I could get a bigger picture. I've heard some fishermen turned into seals and others set free and still humans. This is also I wwant more of .. how did the human(s) end up in the end of the story.

By the way, heres some theories I've heard of what Selki's are (I am sorry I cannot provide link, I've heard some ages ago and don't remember page)

    - Half-Fish, Half-Dog
    - Half-Seal, Half-Faery
    - Roane (It's Irish ... I think it means Seal-Faery)

So please if you have any stories or any theories of your own, please do tell!
