In case you're a novice or citizen, and cannot make your own threads, ask a friendly scribe or patron to make one for you (or if you got a patronage with another character, in which case you can make one for yourself). To make the thread look like your own persona, a non-patron one, made it, there's a way to 'cheat' this. (FYI: the em-tag controls the normal thread creator display, and that is why it needs to be set as "display: none").
Copy the following ("Example: etc." excluded), change the information marked in red in the coding, and paste it into your thread's "Body of Message" (and don't forget to set it as HTML). Also, the code that starts with the p-tag needs to be at the bottom of the whole coding, so place whatever you want to show on the thread header before it (and after the style-coding):
<--! start copying here -->
<style type="text/css">
em { display: none; }
</style>

<--! end copying here -->

PS: Hopefully Jot has time and heart sometime in the future to change the properties so that even novices and citizens could make their own threads, and not just boards...
