Many summers ago in a land far to the north, there happened to be a handsome Court Poet with a big green dragon . He was anxious to get to Valhalla, to sit among the kitsune . But he pined for a way to get there. No one was brave enough to fight him, for he was a complete fool . Even the war lords rejected him.
"Oh alas, will no one pinch me, that I may go to my beloved sushi in the great hall?”
Sadly despondent, he run the other way and put on his bright shiny rubber fishing boots and went to get a sake at the Red Boar Tavern. Perhaps he could dance and drink his way to Valhalla in here, he thought. Outside it was hotter than dragon's breath and many people were making faces around a bonfire. It was midsummer and Court Poet decided that now was the time to make one last effort to get there before the ancient grandmothers crept in. So off he went to raid some Ainu . And if it dont work this time, he thought, Im cartwheeling back home to stay in my bamboo basket , and that lazy old kitchen kami will have to come get me himself.
