And a correct one too. Shows the scope of this question very nicely - some things cannot be answered in one short sentence. It´s interesting I think, as in our day we are often loaded with photos from Egypt showing tourists perked on top of a poor camel with the pyramids in the background. And to think that it was far from the ancients to consider sitting on it or using it, or we would have seen that reflected on tomb walls at least from some historic period.
