Some time ago I wrote a poem about losing my cat Cleo to feline leukemia. Here's the haiku version of it.
Cleo, forgive me...
I did not vaccinate you,
And now you are gone.
Here's the longer version, which was a double-dactyl.
For Cleo
Vaccinate-Vacillate
Feline leukemia
Robbed me of Cleo, my
Beautiful cat;
I was remiss in her
Immunological
Shots, and I'll always be
Sorry for that...
