Here it is, boys and girls, the grand finale, the big kahuna, the final match of the Ludi Megalenses!
In one corner, we have Tremendus, owned by Publius Aelius Tubero, slayer of Superbus!
In the other, we have the beast, Pusillus, owned by Lucius Vipsanius Agrippa, slayer of Pinkus!
They are pretty evenly matched, having progressed the same through the tournament - one normal win, one kill a piece. So, it comes down to the rolls....
Tremendus rolls a....drumroll....3!
And Pusillus, to determine the winner, rolls....a.....drumroll....10! It's a slaughterhouse!
Pusillus thoroughly dominates the match, ending it by hacking off Tremendus' head! So gruesome!
L. Vipsanius Agrippa will be awarded the prize money, 21,000 Denarii. Congratualtions!
