Greetings, everyone! I am Baladria Ubaratutu and I was introduced to AW about a month or so ago and I just noticed this intro section today! All this time I've been fiddling with my homesite and I completely forgot there were boards to read!
I was led here by a fellow Ancient Worlder because I have a love of ancient history. I am a librarian and writer and I use ancient history in both professions (well, one of those is only my hobby). I am currently working on a book series that takes place in 3000 BC!
As a librarian, I have a series of interactive programs for kids called Ancient Civilizations. They pretend to be archaeologists and "excavate" a site in order to learn about the ancient past. It's a lot of fun. If you'd like to learn more about it, you can visit my homesite and click on the little guy at the bottom of the page, or you can visit http://ancientcivilizationsforlibraries.blogspot.com
Um...just copy and paste the link. I can't remember the HTML.
Also on my homesite in the journal section I have begun posting articles from the amusing Babylonian newsletter I wrote for the kids. It's called Hammurabi Today. Feel free to take a look!
Have a great day and thanks for taking the time to read my post!
~Baladria
