This is a hard one to give a hint for. Hope this helps.

She was occasionally confused with Molly Pitcher (Mary Ludwig Hays) who was at the Battle of Monmouth in 1778.

Our lady, however,was severely wounded at the battle of Fort Washington on November 16,1776.

I think I have an answer.
