Hello! I am sort of new here. I originally joined back when it was AncientSites, but never quite got into it, and just recently rediscovered it, so for all intents and purposes, I'm a newbie.

I'm also a geek - working on a bachelor's degree in computer science and minoring in astronomy, with a fascination for Ancient Egypt (among other things). In fact, I came upon this site again because I happened to catch some programming on Ancient Egypt on Discovery Channel this morning, including a program on Hatshepsut - very interesting!
