I have little to say on the death of Scipio Aemilianus, and even less on the contents of a speech her never delivered!

I will say this: whenever someone of importance dies unexpectedly or at a (in)convenient time, tongues will wag. Think Princess Di. Think JFK. Think Scipio Aemilianus.
