The Lupercalia was a very ancient, possibly pre-Roman pastoral festival, observed on February 13 through February 15 to avert evil spirits and purify the city, releasing health and fertility.

The Lupercalia 2008 has come and gone, but there are still activities which you might enjoy. This thread is just the planning thread; the festival was hosted here. Perhaps a scribe should add a link to the actual festival in the header somewhere.
